Getting Around Québec

Whatever your destination, our staff will be happy to advise you on the best way to get there and the best route to take.

Québec City can be explored in many ways:

- On foot:

Historical districts such as the Old Port, Old Quebec and the Petit-Champlain district are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Explore the pedestrian streets at your own pace, soaking up the atmosphere and discovering all the picturesque spots. To climb the hill effortlessly, take advantage of the Funicular and the breathtaking view that opens up before you!

- By bike :

Quebec City boasts more than 100 km of paved bike paths just waiting to be explored. Several bike rental companies are located less than a kilometer from the hotel. In summer, take advantage of the àVélo bike-sharing service. (Kiosks nearby and helmets on loan from hotel reception) Cycling is the ideal way to discover the Parc linéaire de la Rivière Saint Charles, the Grand Marché de Québec and Samuel-de-Champlain Beach.

- By bus :

Get a free ticket for city buses when you stay two nights or more (current promotion may end without notice), board the Hop-on Hop-off or reserve your seat on one of the shuttles to Parc de la Jacques-Cartier.

- By boat :

Get the best view of the Château Frontenac by taking the ferry to Lévis (12-minute crossing, year-round operation), learn more about the region on a guided cruise on the St. Lawrence River (several packages available) or discover the Côte de Beaupré on the river shuttle to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and its sublime shrine.

- By rickshaw!

Get off the beaten track and choose this unusual and 100% ecological means of transport. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll set off to discover the different neighborhoods of the lower town and learn more about what makes Quebec City so unique!

Airport :

The trip to and from the airport is usually by taxi. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. The trip takes about 20 minutes and costs 42CAD + tip (fixed fare subject to change without notice by taxi companies).
